EarthLink Bulk Mail Policy


EarthLink limits the amount of mail that can be sent from an account in a 24 hour period. If customers are using their own mailing list and find that not all of the recipients are receiving their mail, they will need to contact us via phone or chat to provide the information listed below.

  • Name:
  • Email address (where they received this notice)
  • If other, please explain
  • Contact email address (if different than above)
  • Contact Phone Number
  • If they send email in bulk, select the type of email they send
    • Mailing list
    • Newsletter
    • Others please specify.
  • Approximate number of emails they usually need to send in a day.

This information will go to the EIS team, and The EIS team will white list the sending email address and not block the email distribution. They will contact the customer via email with approval or denial. On rare instances they may call. The customer should assume it is approved unless they hear back from us.


Based on past complaints referencing their email address, length of service, content of the mass mailing, and the email reputation as an EarthLink customer, their request may be granted or denied.

Having a customer’s address white-listed is not an open invitation to spam. Even if their email address has been previously white-listed after contacting us, continued complaints to EarthLink Abuse about spam from their address could result in customers losing their white-listed status.
