 Click Start.

 Click on Control Panel.

 Click System and Security.

 Click Turn Windows Firewall on or off located in the left column.

 Select Turn off Windows Firewall (not recommended) under Home or work (private) network location settings and Public network location settings. Then click OK.

 Windows will notify you that the firewall is turned off.
