| 3 | Setup for a Cable Modem is easy. You will simply want to leave the Linksys on its default Internet Connection Type setting of DHCP. Depending on your cable provider, you may need to clone your computer’s MAC Address to the Linksys.

| 4 | If you find you still cannot connect, you may need to clone your PCs MAC Address. A MAC Address is kind of like a serial number assigned to various hardware devices in your computer. Some Cable vendors use your computer’s Ethernet card’s MAC Address as a means of authentication.
