| 1 | Open Internet Explorer and type http://Outlook.com.

| 2 | Enter your microsoft account username and password and click Sign In. If you don’t have a Microsoft account, create one.

| 3 | Once logged in select More mail settings from the settings menu in the upper right corner of the screen.

| 4 | An options screen appears. Click Sending / receiving email from other accounts under Managing Your Account.
|
| 5 | Another screen appears. Click Add an email account.
|
| 6 | Enter your EarthLink email address and password and click Advance Options.
|
| 7 | A screen with boxes for your email address and password will appear. Configure your email settings by entering your POP server name, unchecking SSL and choosing Port 587 and adding in your full email address and password below. Click Next when done.
|
| 8 | Set the folder for your POP mail or have it come to your inbox. We recommend having it come to your inbox. Click Save when done.
|
| 9 | Click Go to your Inbox.
|
| 10 | Open the "Outlook: Verify your email address" email to verify your email address.
|
| 11 | Verify your email address by clicking a link in a confirmation email.
|
| 12 | You will get a confirmation about your account verification. Click on Return to Inbox. Your Outlook.com account should now show all the messages that are stored in your POP account.

| 13 | Now that we have added your EarthLink account to the outlook.com you can configure Mail App on Windows 8 to recive emails from outlook.com
