| 1 | Carefully insert the point of a pen or paperclip into the Reset opening on the back of the modem. Hold in place until all of the lights on the modem are off. Release the button and wait until the Power, Ethernet, and DSL lights on the modem appear. This will reset the modem back to its factory default settings. Important: The modem must be reset in order for the remainder of the steps to work. |
| 2 | Open an Internet browser and type http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar.
NOTE: If the login prompt doesn't appear after you press Enter, try the following steps:

| 3 | You MUST enter the default password for this device which is 1234. After entering the password, click Login. NOTE: If you do not type in the password, you will not be allowed to make any changes to the device.

| 4 | The DSL modem is currently using the default password. To protect your network from unauthorized users, we suggest that you change your password at this time. Please select a new password that will be easy to remember yet difficult for others to guess. We suggest you combine text with numbers to make it more difficult for an intruder to guess. Enter your new password in the two fields below and click Apply. Otherwise click Ignore to keep the default password. |
| 5 | After changing the default password, you will be prompted to the Login interface again. Enter in your new password. Click Login. |
| 6 | You will be given the opportunity to choose the Wizard or Advanced mode. Select the radio button next to Go to Advanced Setup and click Apply. |
| 7 | Select the Wizard icon (wand) in the top right of the Advanced Setup page. |
| 8 | The Setup Wizard will appear. Click Change to Bridge Mode. |
| 9 | You MUST click Apply to confirm the change otherwise it will remain in PPPoE mode (Routing). |
| 10 | Click Finish. |
| 11 | The next page shown is the modem status page. |
| 12 | You have successfully set the modem to Bridged Mode. You can now close this window. |
