| 1 | Click Start then Control Panel. |
| 2 | Click View network status and tasks under Network and Internet. NOTE: If you are viewing by Large or Small icons, click Network and Sharing Center.

| 3 | Click on Local Area Connection. |
| 4 | Click on Properties.
NOTE: Notice which IP version your computer has Internet connection with. Most likely, you will have Internet access with IPv4 Connectivity, as shown below. You will need to know this information for the next step. |
| 5 | Double-click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) or whichever IP version your computer is connected to. |
| 6 | You are now in the TCP/IP Properties menu. Select Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically to configure for DHCP. Then click OK.
