Unable to Hear Voicemails Sent To Email
If you have your EarthLink Voice voicemail configured to send a copy of your messages to your email address, they will be delivered as attached audio files. If, after clicking the file attachment in the email, you are not able to hear the message, the steps below might help:
- Make sure your speakers are turned up to an audible level.
- Ensure that the volume level control in your operating system is set at an audible level.
- Ensure that you can hear other sounds from the computer speakers. You might try playing a music CD or other sources of audio.
- It is necessary that you have an application capable of playing .wav files, such as Windows Media Player, Winamp, or Quicktime. Make sure that you have such an application loaded on your computer.
If you still cannot hear audio from the voicemail attachments, you should contact your computer manufacturer for help with these sound issues.
