Setting the Password for the ZyXEL 660R-ELNK
  1. Open a browser window and type http://192.168.1.1 into the address area and press enter on the keyboard.
  2. Erase the pre-populated characters and manually type in the default password of 1234 and click Login. If you do not remove the characters in this field you will not be able to make any changes within the modem.  
  3. Type a new password in the New Password field and confirm it in the Retype to Confirm field. Then click Apply.
  4. Login using the new password.
