What is Caller ID Block
Caller ID Block allows you to block your identity, name, and telephone number from appearing on the Caller ID of the party you are calling.
Caller ID Block is always off unless activated before dialing. This feature only remains active for one call and must be re-activated for every call.
Using Caller ID Block
- Dial *67.
NOTE: EarthLink trueVoice customers will hear a stutter sound after *67. DSL & Home Phone Service customers will not hear a stutter sound after dialing *67. "
- Listen for a dial tone.
- Using the full 10 digit phone number, dial the number of the party with whom you wish to speak.
