Summary
What is Call Waiting?
Call Waiting allows you to talk on the phone without missing an incoming call. You will hear a beep to alert you when a second call is coming in.
This feature is already working, but you can turn it off (and back on) if you’d like.
How to Use Call Waiting
- While on the phone, listen for a beep tone that will alert you of an incoming call.
- Look at the caller ID to determine if you want to pick up the call.
- To pick up the call, press the Flash button or Switch Hook on the phone to switch to the incoming call.
- To go back to the first call, press the Flash button or Switch Hook on the phone again.
How to Activate or Deactivate Call Waiting
- Log on to the myVoice website: http://myvoice.earthlink.net.
- Click the Features and Preferences link from the Menu section on the left.
- Scroll down to the Call Waiting feature.

- Click Edit.
- Select Call Waiting On to turn it on, or Call Waiting Off to turn if off.
NOTE: This option will be selected by default.
