How to Set Up Netscape Mail 7.0 to Send and Receive Email |

- Open Netscape Mail & Newsgroups.

- Select Email account.
- Click the Next button.

- In the Your Name field, type in your name.
- In the Email Address field, type your full EarthLink email address (e.g., johndoe@earthlink.net).
- Click the Next button.

- Select POP.
- In the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server field, type your Incoming mail server (POP).
Important: Refer to step 1 to find out the email server settings for your email address.
- In the Outgoing server field, type smtpauth.earthlink.net.
- Click the Next button.

- In the User Name field, type your full EarthLink email address (e.g., johndoe@earthlink.net).
- Click the Next button.

- In the Account Name field, type your full EarthLink email address (e.g., johndoe@earthlink.net).
- Click the Next button.

- Click the Finish button.

- From the Edit menu, choose Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings.

- Select Outgoing Server (SMTP) in the Accounts list.
- Change the Port to 587.
Note: You can also click Advanced to configure the Server Name and Port.
- Check the box next to Use name and password.
- In the User Name field, type your full EarthLink email address (e.g., johndoe@earthlink.net).
- Click the OK button.
